This piece keeps me grounded. Steeped in the initial ambitions, aspirations, and vision of the original settlers/purchasers of Manna-Hatta from the Lenape people. Their ambition mutated into glass skyscrapers, paved roads, cleared-out lands (Seneca Village) - all in the spirit of setting new standards of entrepreneurialism and an impregnable work ethic for a new world.
Acrylic, various metallic, and mixed mediums are UV varnished and securely fastened in a floating frame. Sealed behind polyethylene.
